Zyon Nasario: The Assistant Secretary Elect

Meet Zyon Nasario: SCEC Student Council Assistant Secretary Elect with a Passion for Leadership

Zyon Nasario, a 16-year-old student from the class of 3 Business 2, ran for and was elected as the Assistant Secretary in the recent student council elections at Stann Creek Ecumenical College. When asked what inspired him to run for student council and what his goals are if he got elected, Zyon shared that he is a natural leader who enjoys keeping things organized. He wanted to make sure everything at the school was well done and fit for everyone, including newcomers.

During his campaign, Zyon was asked about the unusual choice of a male candidate running for secretary instead of vice president or president, to which he responded that he simply loves being a secretary and has been one since his primary school days. Zyon shared that he can lead well, work hard, and is comfortable in ensuring the comfort of everyone, including himself.

When asked about the qualities of a good leader, Zyon emphasized the importance of thinking positively and making the right decisions, even if they are not popular among friends. He strives to do the right thing and make sure that he is respected for his decisions.

Zyon is committed to ensuring that every student's voice is heard and represented in the student council's decision-making process. He believes that everyone has a right to express their opinions, whether good or bad, and that those opinions should be respected. He plans on fostering a positive and inclusive school culture by listening to his colleagues, including the president and vice president, and working to ensure everything is in the right order.

To bridge the gap between the student council and the school administration and staff, Zyon plans on making everyone partake in certain things and respecting the choices that the council will make for the school's betterment.

Despite being an honor roll student, Zyon is confident that he can balance his academic responsibilities with his duties as the Assistant Secretary of the student council. He loves school and is eager to learn, and being a part of the council will not affect his academic performance.

As the new Assistant Secretary, Zyon and his team are excited to start working on their plans to make positive changes in their school. They will be collaborating with the President and Vice President to make sure that every student's voice is heard and that the council's decisions are inclusive and representative of the student body.

In conclusion, Zyon Nasario is a dedicated student who is passionate about leadership and making a difference in his school. His commitment to inclusivity and respecting everyone's opinions make him an excellent Assistant Secretary Elect for the Stann Creek Ecumenical Student Council. Elected Now, he will work tirelessly to ensure that every student's voice is heard and represented in the student council's decision-making process.
